The Fairview Estate property was bought by Charles Back I in 1937 from the Hugo family. The Estate offers a cheesery, wine cellar, wine and cheese tasting room, and an informal, Mediterranean-style restaurant.

- Wine and Cheese Tasting Room – most popular Cape winelands destination; presents a range of over 35 wines and 25 cheeses for tasting seven days a week.
- Shop & Deli – stock a full range of Jersey cow and goat milk cheeses; traditional preserves and sauces; range of breads from the Goatshed’s bakery.
- Goatshed Restaurant – situated in what was originally one of the old wine cellars on the farm; informal Mediterranean-style restaurant, offering light meals and lunches; cheese platters, fresh breads, salads and seasonal food; selection of wines.
