Hartenberg lies in a self-contained valley with a pure water source that flows through the farm into a wetland system, which occupies 65 of the farm’s 170 ha. Hartenberg Estate does not entertain private functions and events, but offer wine tastings, lunches, walks on the wetland trail, picnics, and a fully equipped playground for kids.

Public Facilities:

• Tastings – tasting times differ, and Underground Cellar Tours by appointment only.
• Lunches – cold lunceon served in the gardens, bookings essential.
• Walks – buy a picnic backpack and enjoy the wetland trail.
• Picnics – lovely picnics on the vast lawns of the estate, with picnic lunch baskets (including wine), available on request.

The Tasting Room, the Vat Cellar, is built in the wine cellar of the Delheim Wine Estate, and is ideal for conferences for groups of up to 30 persons. The room is beautifully decorated with hand carved wine barrels, it’s own toilet facilities, and it is wheelchair friendly.

Conferences and Functions:

• Conferences, tour groups, private functions, wine tasting, cellar tours – between 10 and 40 people.
• The Vat Cellar is built into the wine cellar, and can accommodate groups of up to 30 persons.
• It is a beautiful room decorated with hand carved wine barrels, depicting chapters from the Delheim Estate history book.
• The Vat Cellar can also accommodate wheel chair users.

• Function Venue – Delvera and adjoining restaurant (originally a workshop and shed); ideal for weddings, year-end functions, birthday parties, celebrations and informal conferences; situated close to Delheim Estate.
